Thousands of customers without power as storms push through Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Thousands of people are in the dark Friday night as storms push through Mississippi.
According to Entergy Mississippi, more than 13,500 customers were without power as of 10:30 Friday night.
That number includes more than 3,300 customers in Montgomery County and more than 1,800 in Sharkey County. Bolivar County, meanwhile, had more than 1,100 outages.
Far fewer had been reported by Mississippi Power and Southern Pine. As of 10:30, just 48 Mississippi Power customers were without lights, while 70 were without power with Southern Pine.
